Chester Arthur Crites
Chester Arthur was the
second son of Jesse Harris Crites and Anna Ida Schultz born September
6, 1897 in Carbondale, Kansas. He married Anna Mae Barry in 1926 and
they lived in Topeka, Kansas. They had two sons; Berry Dee (b. 1928)
and Jack Arthur (b.1931). The Federal Census lists Chester's occupation as a painter
for the railroad in both of the 1930 and 1940. Chester
died on October 6, 1953 and was buried in the Topeka Cemetery in
Topeka, Kansas.
